  1. 30.5F Light snow. I did have some steady snow the past 3 hours and picked up 1.5" additional 6" last night, about .5" daylight hours and 1.5" this evening so 8ish". That brings me to 90" for the season. So the first above normal season in 3 years. Congrats to all that got the big snows!!
  2. 32.4F Visabilty 2 miles About 1/4" inch the past 2 hours in areas that had no dim sun earlier. So I will up my total to 6.25". Perhaps if I had woken up around 5am and measured then and cleared I could push 7"! I'm so jealous of you two!
  3. For Central NH in my area this has been an exasperating day for me. Over the past few days the models really did well with the downwind snow hole until last evening. I feel like an idiot because I post for the 7000 member Newfound Lake face book group. I have done very well this winter compared to say WMUR and locally wherever I go people seem to know me and thank me. On Sunday I was going to go with 3-6", quite a bit less than the NWS but never hit the send button. I was too unsure. Then last evening the models really bumped up Plymouth NH to 1" liquid and Newfound Lake area up to 1.20". I never posted that 3-6" since this storm and the northward loop made me nervous. So I went with 8-14" with most on the hills. Yeah I had 6" up here but where most people live today there was a couple of slushy inches with the dim sun at times. Trying to explain downwind of the Whites will not cut it. This forecast is a D unless we get a few inches this evening. I'm stuck over 32F up here at elevation so I doubt that will happen. Argghhh...
  4. 32.9F 10 hours of light snow with 1/2". of slush. 6" last night. Finally cooling to 32.6F and starting to stick. I'm at 1100 feet too
  5. 33F Moderate snow. The temperature just will not go down even though the snow has finally resumed falling moderate to heavy.
  6. I have been stuck at 33.1 or 33.2 for the past couple of hours. Finally the dim sun is gone and light snow about 3/4 vis. Actually as I type I just ticked to 33.0F as the snow is picking up. Radar looks good for us as everything rotates in from the east. Interestingly the wind was really blowing this morning but has really calmed down.
  7. 33.2F Light snow. I did not take a measurement around dawn but guessing 6". Since then we have just had very light snow with no accumulation. It is finally picking up with a vis below 1 mile but the temperature for my elevation and latitude is surprisingly high. I really though I would stay 31 or 32F all day.
  8. 32.4F Temperature has risen 4F since dawn. Dim sun. Bit of drizzle mixed with a few mangled flakes. Wind is howling from east. I don't understand as I should not be shadowed in this wind direction
  9. Per Science Museum webcam, snow now coming into downtown Boston
  10. 31.4F Very light snow. Bright skies, can almost see the sun. The models had me in a snowhole for the past few days and then they came back last evening with much more qpf. Maybe stuff will back in with the low coming into Mass Bay but who knows
  11. 29.3 Light snow/blowing snow Snow started last evening at around 34F and dropped to 32F by mid to late evening and continued the very slow drop. Fortunately we have gone over to a drier snow. I didn't measure but estimate 7" by looking at the railing
  12. 31.1 f Moderate snow. 3 1/2 estimated. Back to bed
  13. 31.7F light snow. Eyeballing 1 1/2". Trees already plastered.
  14. 32.2F Light snow. Snowblower positioned and ready. Obviously we still have a ton of snow up here from the previous storms. Long melt season still ahead.
  15. Snowing pretty hard here and starting to stick. Big flakage. 33.1F
  16. 33.7/30 Light snow. The temperature has been dropping steadily
  17. Things are looking much more bullish up here than yesterday. Several years back a nor'easter brought damaging winds to Eastern NH. If the GFS would be right would that happen again, even to interior areas like us? Usually the big lows move through the benchmark but this is different.
  18. For the NH folks like me the Euro was a big jump in QPF. With each model run some get screwed and others get the goods...
  19. Yeah, it clobbers SNE but it is looking like NBD up here. Big storms are nice until you loose power for a few days. This one will do that. A little incoming nuke
  20. Frickin models. I'm glad I don't read this thread too much. For example NAM had me at 1.67" last run but .33" this run. You all have to deal with R/S lines but up here it is how much does the goods come north and how much does the Whites shadow me.
  21. Yes, this is true but at the same time the days are getting longer. More time to accumulate
