  1. Yeah, I thought everything was weakening but new cells are popping up. Lots of lightning with the cell around New London. Moving NE I may get that one.
  2. Rain just about over. .63" Brian I have a portable generator if you need it.
  3. 65/64 Heavy thunderstorm. Line is 3/4 through. Peak wind 19mph. .45" so far
  4. Line getting close. Just counted 40 flashes in past minute 67/66
  5. I agree, it's an intense line moving along. Im 68/67 with a brisk east wind and 1300 foot overcast. I would guess this will really weaken as it moves into NH.
  6. It really doesn't affect anyone on the boards except Alex, Brian and me but radar looks a bit scary to the west. Not looking for severe but could be a crap load of water this evening. A quick 2-4" of water on flat SNE isn't the same as these steep slopes up here. It's been a dry August so streams are running very low. Will be interesting how this plays out this eve and even over the next few days till fropa
  7. 70/68 ..and just like that clouds melted away
  8. About 25% sun here. Can't see too far ceiling is about 200 feet over my fanny. 67.8/66
  9. 68/66 Overcast Matt Noyes is really honking about a possible flash flood potential up here in the Lakes Region for this evening. His model shows up to 4" to fall. Bullseye around Plymouth NH
  10. 66/64F Occ. rain showers. .16" last night and around .05" so far this morning. Mom and her fawns enjoying apples right now, trees are loaded.
  11. 73/61F Perfect for me Wagons north for rain it seems. Euro gives me an inch by Sat night on the other hand .30". Euro is dry for Sunday GFS is wet. Between warm fronts and cold fronts it will be hard to miss something
  12. 69/68 Mostly sunny. Still really hazy and winds are near calm. This cold front doesn't seem like it has much push southbound right now. Low dews are just north of me but not moving in here very fast. 2nd line of convection developed north of the first line that missed me. Gave me .20" which brings August rainfall up to just under .40"
  13. Spoke too soon. New line formed north of the first and doubled my August rainfall total. .18" and still raining a bit.
  14. 74/68 Partly cloudy. Rainshowers missed today by a couple of miles to my south. Very little upstream. .13" total rain for August. Don't see anything coming up in the near future.
  15. 61/53 Partly cloudy. Few very light showers today but managed a 70F Meanwhile, my sister and family in Bend Oregon got hit with a nice hailstorm late yesterday afternoon. Here's a picture of my brother-in -law with the snowblower. A bit overdone for something that will melt in an hour or two but it looks like something this weenie would do.
  16. 71/56 shower is passing by to my south. Wind gusting into the high 20's definitely a cool feel to the air
  17. .16" total for this whole event. Sprinklers working overtime to keep things green. Lawn has remained green all summer but looks like brown times ahead.
  18. On going water rescue (s) going on at Newfound Lake. Towns of Bristol and Alexandria. Thunderstorm that barely missed me hit the lake. I had frequent wind gusts over a 10 minute period in the mid 30's so it might have caught some off guard. Grafton County was not in the Severe Thunderstorm Watch and storm was not warned.
  19. Perfectly shooting the gap here. Few drops to wet the deck. Storms to the left of me dealers to the right. Nada so far!
  20. Watched the storm safely from my house in New Hampshire. Looking at the Inner Harbor earthcam it sure looked like large hail was hitting the water. Then the heavy rain came in and the vis dropped to about 1000 feet. Wonder if there will be hail reports in the city?
  21. We biked the Franconia Notch trail today and yes wooly's in the way. What a perfect day for the ride. Clear, cool. It's a great 9 mile trail.
