All of Grafton County NH was recently taken out of the S NH/Boston viewing area and put in the Burlington VT/Plattsburgh viewing area so with cable or streaming we can no longer watch NH only station WMUR. Arrgghh
First thunderstorm of the day approaching 66/64F highest so far today.
Really no change is temp dew past hour. Dark, cool and dreary. Stuck in low clouds 65/63F. I know the tornado watch goes all the way into Maine but this marine layer seems like a killer unless in the next hour it pushes east.
59/57 Drizzle. Doesn't feel at all like a severe storm day. If this was 100 years ago and I was a farmer just going by personal experiences I would guess this would be a 0% chance of a severe storms. CAD almost always rules but you guys know much more than me and I'll be watching to get warmer air in here.
SPC 80% chance of Severe Thunderstorm Watch to be issued. Eastern NY, all of VT and NH and SW Maine into N Mass. We will see what happens
87/74 lots of high cirrus, few Cu but patches of blue also
90.2/73 Never made it to 90F last summer. Towering Cu all quads. High cirrus from earlier storms going over and south of me which will slow upward temps in S NH if they don't evaporate first
9am 80/75 We had a nice .14" shower early last evening. I assume the moisture is evaporating out to create my excessive dew? Very rare for me to break 90F. 100% sunshine and solar max may do it today
Our below ground basement is always very cool. We have a large floor vent leading up to our living room. I positioned a fan near the cellar floor and cold air blows up and does a good job of keeping the house cooler. It works best this time of year as the soils warm up later in the season thus not as much as a temperature difference.
