Looks like GSP has backed way off on snow totals here, was 5-11” last night, now just 4”. Discussion sounds unsure, but heavily weighted taking NAM warm nose into account.

COSTCO yesterday...kinda weird seeing multiple baskets that looked just like mine. Kirkland paper towels, Charmin TP (can’t skimp for Kirkland on that) and bottles of wine .

Yeah, just talking about having measurable frozen precip for 3 days in a row. My comment then, was that, living in the south my entire life, I’d never experienced that (at home), I have out west.

February 2014...just looking back at old posts, seems we had 3 days of everything. This seems to be looking similar. Not the storm track etc...but duration and type,of event.

Sooo....this is my forecast per weather.gov. saturday night- new snow 2-4” possible. sunday- new snow or sleet accumulations of 3-7” possible. So could be 5” or 11”...hah, middle of Charlotte.

Curse anyone? Bought a snow shovel, ice melt and a new sled yesterday. Sorry CLT nerds..know I’ve cursed the Queen City. Had to be done. If I get any snow/ice, my sidewalk stays icy for at least a week. So, I went all in. As usual, when I need it, they are already all gone. Even bought the kid a new snow disc. Might as well do it all at once. Sorry in advance. i might take the fam to Sugar to do some skiing.

Thanks jburns...something hit the house (wind related), wife and I investigated, door left open, dog bolted... i ran up the busy street we live on,looking for him, and heard a screech and thump behind me, and my dog yelped and ran up the street toward me...grabbed him, rushed to animal ER. Hes still alive, but doesn’t look good, Wife called the vet while I was there and put me on the phone with my 8yo daughter, which made me cry like a baby in the lobby. Crappy day. Really hope we don’t get a foot of rain.
