  1. Obviously, I don’t know how to look at a model with any level of intelligence, but timing wise that would make sense. Today feels like the deepest of the winter. My husband said it feels like we’ve just had a huge snow storm. It’s blowing all over the place in a huge drifts. The driveway can’t stay clear for more than about 30 minutes before we have to snow blow it again. He could barely get his jeep down to the road. I mean, if we can add to this, it would be totally epic, but if we can’t... It’s time to plant the garden.
  2. Given the impending failure of Thursday, is there anything we should start paying attention to beyond that? I imagine we would all vote for either a continuation of storms and opportunities or a quick transition to spring
  3. blowing and drifting as bad as I remember for several years at least. We have 1200 feet of driveway going up and across on open hay field. Planted 2 dozen maples in 2019 as an eventual snow fence, but we are a few years away from a real benefit. This is the kind of day when we snowblow right before we need to go somewhere because it will be covered up and drifted within an hour. I'm guessing we had a total of 9 or maybe 9.5 when it ended last night.
  4. looks like a beautiful spot! also nice edges on the snow blowing.
  5. A spectacular last hurrah. I will measure in the morning but I bet I’ve had at least 2 inches since just after 8 o’clock. Looks like the back end is heading rapidly from Keane unless the secondary causes additional back building or wraparound but I doubt it.
  6. New CPC 8-14 has near normal temperatures and above normal precipitation
  7. It’s really nice out there with the look of a mid-level band great Snow growth. If I didn’t have to get up so damn early with the babies, Id go out for a Jebwalk
  8. Is there some sort of mid-level low passing through Massachusetts? That’s enhancing this backend snow? Looks like a twist over Massachusetts.

  10. Kind of amazed. Back in snow almost never works out. Fraud five. Fantastic snow growth and it is piling up. Unfortunately this is gonna cause a lot of drifting
  11. Surprised at how much accumulation we’ve had. Based on the number of times I’ve shoveled, we’ve had at least 8”. The sleet has accumulated pretty well, perhaps because it’s lighter and mixed with other things that are accumulating better. Early this evening I had shoveled everything and then a couple hours later went out, and there had been at least an inch of not an inch and a half of new stuff on the ground. And now I suppose we’re gonna go back over the snow so who knows we might hit double digits.
  12. It isn’t typical sleet. It very teeny sleet and other stuff mixed in
  13. Would be nice to go back to snow for an inch or two
  14. Just went for a long walk with the babies in the jet sled. They are totally unfazed by this weather. I wouldn’t call it totally sleet. Very tiny little sleep balls but lots of shards and a little tiny flakes that make the visibility low. Definitely over 6 inches And very wintry.
  15. You were visiting all of us up here! Refinery is great. Good burgers and fantastic french fries. That’s a beautiful ride which I’ve done part of on my bike.
  16. I see we’re going into a dry slot shortly. But that is some heavy precipitation over eastern PA Delaware in Jersey that looks like it’s heading straight up here. What do you suppose that will be by the time it gets up here? I’m assuming heavy sleet.
  17. I see that band over you with the bright yellows. That is awesome.
  18. Haven’t seen big flakes in a while. Tractor out of the garage and driveway being snow blown.
  19. As this next wave of precip comes in It’s coming in as mostly if not all snow with not great but not bad growth
