  1. at some point we can talk about mid level tracks, expected deformation zones etc? I'm getting nervous now...pf getting his sunscreen, gene writing it off and will talking about chickens on bare ground.
  2. Have you heard of Jewish angst? We always think the worst could happen. History has often proved us correct...
  3. Yesterday flirting with the warmth, today flirting with the northern edge. Maybe it’ll settle out in the middle
  4. Feeling good up here given all the guidance. Flirting with warm air can be good especially with a strong secondary taking over. At least I’d think so.
  5. Jeez and I thought the risk was more of a whiff than a cut. But even out there, can't the block force surface cyclogenesis off of the Jersey coast? And isn't that cut too far nw to fry our mid and upper levels?
  6. we had the exact same thought at about the exact same time. Sun-Mon will be our first widespread snowstorm.
  7. When you come back to the forum, we know winter has begun.
  8. I see what you're doing and I approve.
  9. you can see the isobars from the sw side of that 50-50 on that mean. that gives me some confidence that cold air will hold at least for CNE and NNE. But I've noticed that every storm progged to give us some snow has ended up warmer and wetter so far. Normal for November and I'm glad to get water into the ground before the freeze. But lets hope we get a shift here towards snowier outcomes.
  10. Spread is generally in a good direction for us though
  11. This storm is good in that its a good storm track, and there have been some coastals this fall. I don't know shite but this seems like a hopeful sign for the season.
  12. I fiigured it the rates got this heavy it would cause dynamic cooling. Oh well, pouring rain still
  13. People seem somewhat hesitant to jump on board with that but doesn’t it look like redevelopment will be forced to our south and keep us in the cold?
  14. I’d be shocked if we saw anything significant accumulate up here. We don’t do well in those scenarios I don’t think.
  15. Does it not look like the set up for December 2 will force the low south of us or redevelop it off the coast? Looks like a lot of high-pressure bridging in to Ontario and western Quebec and an old low over the Canadian Maritimes. Would that force it south?
  16. New London has very good elevation and places to hang out
  17. It's November, man. This is a great pattern for November, active, flirting with snow and gettings some bits here and there, snowpack building to the north...and signs that the pattern gets better into early December with some blocking. I'm psyched, we could have our permenant winter pack down by end of first week of December.
  18. Parachuters must've not liked what they saw. They have ceased their drop.
  19. In a battle against the wet, the airborne has arrived and is dropping in the parachuters right now to cool the air and save us from this heresey
  20. Lol rain here 10 miles north and 300 ft higher.
