  1. been steady flurries, with some big flakes in acworth, ga all morning. nice to look at but wont add up to much
  2. you think most of north ga (above ATL) could see 1-3 inches of snow?
  3. is this the type of set-up that high elevations in north Georgia like around Suches could see a couple inches of snow?
  4. steady light snow in dunwoody now. how long can it last for?
  5. heavier flurries in dunwoody. i wonder if the returns north of montgomery can get close to atl in a few hours
  6. light flurries in dunwoody but it is finally making it to ground, might see 2 hours of flakes?
  7. great radar returns over ATL. crazy nothing hitting ground
  8. I still think it will snow, I was just saying what TWC said. @SnowGoose69 what are your thoughts on ATL?
  9. The guy on TWC just said he knew all along the snow would be south of ATL. Pretty bold statement
  10. TWC thinking Atlanta metro gets no accumulating snow. My hopes for a dusting are fading.
  11. Yes, I think so. Not sure how accurate the KFFC radar is but those returns moving into ATL soon should saturate the atmosphere
  12. Radar returns look good to the west of ATL I think they could be in for a surprise mid to late morning
  13. Nice, yeah I am hoping these early returns help moisten up atmosphere. Are you still thinking ATL area may get an inch possibly?
  14. It is not hitting the ground, at least not where I am. I did see FFC changed the advisory for Metro ATL up to 2 inches of snow, and the WSW just south of ATL now says up to 5 inches.
  15. Looks like new 00z HRRR has precip inching ever so close to ATL for a few hours, definitely further N than last run. Going to be a close call...
