  1. The weather has been picture perfect the past few days. Drying out has been really nice. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. For about 24 hours every summer. That's enough lol. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. I don't have central air. I do have a portable AC for my bedroom at night and a few dehumidifiers though. Humidity is the issue here, not heat. In the 3 years I've lived above 4000' it's never reached 80 at my house. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. I saw this much sun today. Didn't even have to zoom out. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. 41.1° and soaking wet. There should be a law against this. Y'all stay safe, it looks bad down to the south in the upstate already. And there a huge shield of moderate to heavy rain moving north from the low country. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. Really neat cloud structure over the Black Range this evening. I see some lenticulars I believe. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah down to 36 here. Just brought all of my plants back inside. 25 of them. Boy, am I tired of doing that. Last night of that I hope. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. My high today was 40. This is really impressive for May! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. Woke up to 24 and a dusting this morning...then I got back in bed because "a'int nobody got time for that" in May. Come on, 70° weather. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. 30.8 and flurries here. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Do it man, I talked to Bobby about that Tuesday. I'll pm you in a few. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah, down to 38.8° at my house at 4400'. Should be an interesting night. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. I had a good morning on the creek before the rain set in. Dang weather... Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, you can see how I do in these events (check out my profile.) Roan is to my northeast a county over and its the only bald higher in elevation on the border than mine. Slight changes in wind vector make huge differences with these flows, so like Met said just keep checking this page. We have some really knowledgable folks in here. 15. If I were you I'd head for Roan. It's probably the best bet outside of the smokies. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. There is part of the BRP open north of Asheville and according to the real time maps you can travel south on the parkway and reach 5000'. Of course, deteriorating weather conditions could cause that to close without notice. https://www.nps.gov/maps/full.html?mapId=e212fcb5-4ff9-4787-bbe4-3d40cc0d0daa#12/35.7363/-82.2721 Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. Shhh...let's not give 2020 any ideas.... I love snow, but its hung around about long enough for one season. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. Currently 34° and snow in Wolf. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Rain and graupel here at the moment, 41°. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. May have a watch before long. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. Looks like they're in for another round later today. That warm front area looks to be busy later! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. They also had a tornadic episode before Easter too with one tornado going through northern Spartanburg. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. I'm already hearing some deep rumbles of thunder to my north. Looks like yet another active day. I sat on the bald watching the lightning from the Spartanburg storm last night...the flashes was almost continuous around 8-9pm. I wonder if upstate SC is gonna get walloped again today. They just can't catch a break lately! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. You're just full of good news today. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  25. This is not going well so far. Yeah, it was a dud of a sunset and the storms went north. Still had a nice walk last night.
