  1. Light snow and 27° currently. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. You're right, most of the nwf events this winter have been more westerly oriented. I'd like to see Boone get a good surprise. Those folks have been left out so much this season.
  3. Woke up to ½ inch of snow covering everything. I'm guessing that was with a frontal passage since the nwf hasn't set up yet. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. So what do you guys prefer to use for trout? I fish the Cane, Toe, and Nolichucky rivers mainly and everything but muskies goes after these things. Even catfish and snakes lol. I've read that some people have even gotten muskies to hit them, but I haven't. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. I'm with you there. I need some new hip waders and to replenish my panther Martin collection. I donated about 20 spinners last season to various rocks. Maybe it's time I try a fly rod. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks! She was up and walking around today, so things are looking up for her.
  7. That's not quite the death blow this season that it's been in years past though, right?. I'm gonna miss out on this one regardless, my mom had a stroke (she's fine) so I'm going to be in Columbia this weekend. I hope it's a good one for y'all!
  8. Seems like it's always one extreme or the other with precip around here. That storm was LOUD this morning. I bet my dogs are still hiding in the basement.
  9. I'll wait to see what the nam says before I give it much thought.
  10. He loves catching snowballs! Really nice day out there! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Finished with another 2.25". The atmosphere just can't seem to produce more than 3.5" at a time this winter. 12. About 1.5" now and still just pouring down flakes. I finally got to open that bag of salt I bought in November! (It's the little things...)
  13. Picked up close to an inch today so far (had to break out the ol snowboard)...just a beautiful, steady moderate snow. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. I just drove from downtown Asheville to my house. Almost perfectly clear the entire way until I got about 5 miles from my house, but looking back to the west I could see the cloud deck heading in. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. 22° with light snow falling already. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. Thundersnow? 000 FXUS62 KGSP 280305 AFDGSP Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg SC 1005 PM EST Thu Feb 27 2020 .NEAR TERM /THROUGH FRIDAY/... Aside from the mountain snow totals, the other major issue will be rapidly steepening mid-level lapse rates as the upper shortwave crosses the southern Appalachians Friday. Anticipate plenty of 7+ deg C/km 850 to 500 mb lapse rates transiting the region. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. If that happens, please message me. I'll bring the snow over to ya.
  18. They basically said the same thing for last night's nwf too. Hold out hope, Joe!
