  1. Light snow now and 32.6. The wind is really cranking now, out of the N at 36 gusting to 51. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. I'm up too. Currently sitting at 33.6° with moderate to heavy rain and waiting for the switch over to snow at 4400' in Wolf. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. The hike up Big Bald should be pretty awesome tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. GSP mentioned thundersnow in the AFD this morning. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. This is so much better than tracking inversions lol. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. Makes me wonder if GSP might go with WSWs in the higher elevations. 4" is the criteria I believe. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. Yes it is! And we're almost into Nam range. Nice to have something to track. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. We've had snow 4 times with 2 dustings in Wolf Laurel. But that doesn't really count. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. Flurries here in Wolf for the 4th time this season. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. 27 with freezing fog in Wolf. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Hey look, another inversion! Wolf Ridge hasn't been able to make snow because this is happening just about every night with clear skies lately. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. It's a balmy 51° at 4400 in Wolf currently and 25° down at 2800 in Burnsville. I'm embracing the inversion and sleeping with the windows open lol. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. Yes we were! Picked up over 15" from that event in my yard. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. At 735 it was 41.1° at my house. By 752 it dropped to 30.2° and is holding steady there. Unfortunately it looks like the best moisture is missing us to the north. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. The 12z gfs is looking nice for Sunday with 4-8" of snow in the border counties. I'm not buying it until I see it on the 12z run Friday. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. My NWS forecast now has some sort of frozen precip for Monday night-Wednesday night. With the way the pattern has been I'll count just seeing a few wet flakes as a win. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. Boring is right. I saw some amazing lenticular clouds again this morning over the Black Mountains as I drove into Burnsville, but I'm only talking about it because there's nothing else to talk about. I'll be talking about inversions tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. Theres some great lenticulars right now in the high country. Cloud deck moved in and lowered fast. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Happy Thanksgiving my friend... and to everyone in our little group! Hope it's a great one. Started out at 41 this morning lol on the mountain. Gotta love those inversions! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. Just hit my daily high of 33°. The temp dropped to 24° around 8pm and has been rising ever since. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. 28° was all we could manage today (unless there's an inversion tonight), back down to 27° now. Oh and nice try, Euro. I'm not falling for that again. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. You know that it's cold when the pond partially freezes over! Dropped to 15° this morning. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. I saw a flake or two on the backside of the precip around 7am. It began clearing for an hour and the the wind picked up and the clouds air building up again. Down to 32° now with 17 mph wind gusting to 35. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. Already down to 40.6° here. Wouldn't be surprised to see flakes mixing in soon. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  25. Wolf Ridge is cranking up the guns by next week as well.
