    Just 1 millimeter better. lol. If that 16" was frozen solid for a week, i'd take that TBH. Instead of 16" melting completely the next day in 48 degree weather. lol I like this type of winter where the sub-freezing weather hangs around for a week.

    It's been so long since I needed salt a whole lowes bucket full was solid. ANd one I had in my house congealed into solid balls. Apparently there is a shelf life to these products. lol

    My kids had a half day because of rain and wind. I think it's a given that they will be out of school tomorrow if temps are below freezing tomorrow morning.

    In that post with all of the models it shows a slight curve of the swath of heavier precip toward western PA. What is causing that?

    Interesting that the two previous storms were drought-busters and we finally get the cold and the heavy moisture is nowhere to be found. lol. Where's atmospheric memory when ya need it? Speaking of Richmond, VA getting more, I recall the last 5 years or so, that area jackpoting more than usual or at least getting more snow than DC.

    Loved the little snow TV we got today. Kids loved it. Been so long. Thankful.

    I know. I had to rush and get my kids new snow boots. They haven't had to get any for the past two years. Had to get new sizes. lol. Let's see if they get to wear them this week.

    Compared to day-trading, this is nothing. Not only do you get emotional when the market swings, you also lose or gain money. lol At least this hobby has o financial impact. :-)

    I guess winds at my house never really mixed down far enough. The winds in my backyard only got as high as 15mph.

    Hmmmm. My wind sensor is still reading only a 10mph top wind in the last hour. Wonder if it is my geography. It has a clear line to the south. I guess I need a 100ft pole to get good wind readings?

    Just put up my wind sensor this weekend. Should be fun watch the wind speeds on it! Getting high wind watches on my weather radio right now.
