    Wind just hit me in Adelphi. Pretty strong initial gust. .

    Yeah. The cutoff was my neighborhood. I got a whiff. Not even heave rain. Just a brief 5 minutes of moderate rain and then light rain again.

    Man! Talk about splitting the uprights in the break of line of storms! Line missed to my north and south. lol. I didn't even get heavy rain.

    Gotta pick up my daughter from school at 12:30. Pretty sure that line of storms will be here before 12:30.

    DC schools just caved. Early dismissal.

    Prince George's County 2hr early dismissal. My son goes to a charter school in DC in pods (trailers). A bit concerned about that. DC hasn't called for early dismissal.

    Just stopped abruptly. Looking at radar, I can see why. Very sharp cutoff.

    Grass caved. Did not expect that. White with a few blades sticking through. This is sooo awesome!

    Deck and grass covered. Roads wet.

    Ground still too warm here. NICE snow TV, but no stickage yet. Deck is caving ever so slowly.

    One of these years we're going to get a two-footer. Followed by a 1 footer. I sense it in the force.

    80% of this morning's snowpack has melted. Sorta puts the snowcrete into perspective. That was a weeks long winter wonderland. Call me crazy, but I'd rather have snow that sticks around for a few weeks than snow that disappears in less than 6 hours.

    I got about 2 inches. Now it's turned into compacted slop. Looks like whipped cream.
