  1. some decent bands now coming onshore here in Juno Beach, has been gusty all day, but I can hear the surf, will try to get over there tomorrow and pull a cantore and get some video or pics, technically, if she does become a hurricane, would be the first since Gloria for me, Irene, Bob, all the others were TS when they hit my area at least...glad to see it's finally seasonally cool up there, I may be back just in time for snow...
  2. I popped in to see if anyone was discussing this, I'm currently in Juno Beach FL for work, track was coming right at me now appears slightly north, GFS still south tho it seems, it's been steady since last week with that, thoughts??
  3. is that what that was, I was down in the dirty a bit ago and saw a couple areas of police presence, heavy, watertown ave was shut too, anyway here we coat...temp falling off the cliff
  4. yeah that could have been it, was definitely between 98 and 04 when I was living at an apartment in Waterbury, that much I remember, the next place I lived was an awesome thundersnow storm in Feb in I'm pretty sure 05
  5. don't recall exactly what year, early 2000s I think, was literally gloomy and dank like April weather north of Richmond until June, remember driving to Florida that year and as soon as we hit that area, beautiful, two weeks there and on the way back after that spot back to dank, also think it snowed on opening day at yankee stadium too, 02 maybe? that sucked, late leaf out and everything
  6. that is cool thanks... I'ma steal it if you don't mind... really shows how the NW hills become the berks, then the greens, and shows the hilly terrain NECT into RI and SEMA
  7. you still under one of those streamers? those had surprising staying power, and like like they mean business
  8. despite radar, it's been light snow here since sundown, nothing like out east but added at least another .2" to what fell today, feels like deep winter out to boot, nice send off
  9. rocking the radar back and forth and it almost seems like the NW flow undercut the lift, almost appeared like a meso low was over my area as you can see the circulation... actually lightly snowing again, fluff, and wind blown
  10. 17/9 and feels like Jan... guess this is it huh, no faith in the end of the month deal
  11. congrats, missed out on that one... I purposely went out to clean the deck thinking one last go, and literally fell apart above my head, ha, this winter I swear
  12. it has the feel as if I should be clearing a foot of snow or more out there, but alas...2.4 total
  13. that damn band legit fell apart and rapidly intensified east of me, ffs!
  14. power outage again, as soon as the TV reboots, it flickers again, ugh, gusts are vicious, like the other night
  15. good thing Monday will erase any of the mess, I ain't cleaning anything but the sidewalk and deck
  16. 23/17 -sn and just reported a 37mph gust, special weather statement about the band about to come through...good limb came down in the yard, just missed the coop, them poor hens are probably freaking out first winter and all...
  17. dumping pretty good here again, maybe can get to 3 if rates and growth are good, ratios definitely higher than before, power flicker a few times here last hour
  18. looks like we get one more little burst before we call it, if that stays together that is on its way east, winds are absolutely roaring here
  19. just measured 2.3" on the board, my call was 2.5", ALY had us 4-6" here, unless the back edge produces I'm going to call it at 2.3...meh, still under 40 on the season
  20. radar getting shredded as it approaches, unless that stuff out west stays together, we done.
  21. looks like a nice burst about to crash east soon here...
  22. yeah noticed on the way to and from Waterbury there was a noticable difference on the roads and rates past pinewood rd exit, that area tends to be where the weather changes drastically it seems, heard from a friend up the hill in Norfolk there's about 4 otg, sharp cutoff, was modeled though
  23. about 2-2.5" out there, took a ride to Waterbury and the front came through as I was on 8, crazy near white out on the way down, lightened up considerably now, but still snow whipped by the wind
