    I have a Ryobi, it's great, I want to get their most powerful leaf blower before fall, my brother has one and it kicks ass.

    A deer ran into my Toyota Tacoma 3 years ago and totaled it, the deer was so high on adrenalin it still managed to run into the woods where we couldn't find it. I'm sure it passed in the woods based on the damage to my truck.

    We went to upstate New York a couple years ago to the Finger Lakes and went to a park with a big waterfall. When we were there a deer fell down the huge waterfall and broke its legs, it was just laying in the water and couldn't move. Eventually F & G or park rangers came to put it down. It was a sad scene to see that deer in pain not being able to move.

    They love our Hostas, they eat them down to the ground every year. I caught one eating the leaves off my dogwood. I don't have high hoped for the apples or the pears.

    The line for Coney Island hot dogs was long until the 7th inning and I got there 1/2 hour before the game started. they must sell thousands of hot dogs.

    I have a mulberry bush and the berries turn almost all at once, if I don't get out there to pick the birds clean house. It must be chipmunks or birds that clean them up off the ground. I'm excited, I have apples for the first time this year, hopefully the deer don't beat me to them.

    It's a nice little park but I've been spoiled by Polar Park in Worcester. Prices are reasonable which I liked and this year they have some good players. If you get a chance, go to a game at Polar, they have some real good prospects knocking on the door and the food is pretty good and not expensive.

    I did that one time and the next morning I still had a puddle on the seat it rained so hard.

    I thought Furnace Creek might set a record last few days but they didn't yet, maybe in the next few days they have a shot.

    Sky just brightened, looks like a brief respite.

    Anyone else lose power? I did briefly but got it back pretty quick.

    My gutters drain underground, last storm it was apparently filled and was bubbling over. Saw the same thing yesterday in Auburn at a house I was doing during the down pour yesterday. Hasn't happened since I've been here for 29 years.

    Growing up we never had AC, I put my bed near a window with a box fan and slept about 2 feet from the window. Got me through most nights but some nights the fan didn't do squat and I didn't sleep. First thing I did when I got my own place was to get an AC, never looked back.

    Got caught outside in the Tstorm about 11:30, my socks are soaked, didn't have waterproof shoes on, terrible timing on my part.

    House I was just at looked like a shroom farm. It's a shady yard so that probably contributed.

    Had a good light show here about half an hour ago, my dog walked out for her before bed pee and turned right around and ran in the house.

    Stopped off there two years ago on our way to Acadia, never made it to Acadia, stayed 3 nights in Boothbay.

    You should check out the Nordic Lodge in Charlestown RI, all the lobsters you can eat, king crab legs, clams, oysters, mussels all kinds of meat, desserts. When I went it was $92 but I think it went up after Covid. My brother in law ate 5 lobsters, I had a about 5 lbs of crab legs.

    they did have one touch down, right at the Airport. Tornado touches down near Chicago's O'Hare airport, disrupting hundreds of flights (yahoo.com)
