  1. The ones I have keep pine needles out, there's a screen that nothing can pass through on the one's I have.
  2. I don't like to run into one any time of the year, I get some living in my woodpile probably looking for mice that makes nests in there.
  3. I left the top of my gazebo on one year because were getting nothing and the future looked bleak, then we had a one snow changing to freezing rain event and the weight collapsed my gazebo.
  4. I had it on in my car yesterday to cool it down quickly.
  5. I keep mine in the same spot year-round, it's under cover so don't have to worry about it getting buried.
  6. Yeah, I thought we weren't going to get a freeze until after Thanksgiving, swear I read that. Been down to mid 20s two nights in a row and I don't radiate.
  7. 29 here, that should knock the leaves from my bushes off, they're always the last to fall.
  8. I'll be closer to the coast (2 miles away) so not sure how cold it gets there, next year will be my first year there.
  9. My front yard was loaded with leaves, after today they're all in the woods, the rest of my yard is buried.
  10. Have you ever thought of a pistachio tree? I'm thinking of giving it a try next year.
  11. Something similar happened to a friend of mine, he and his wife were in bed and thought it was an earthquake, turns out is was a drunk that hit their house.
  12. I'm at 76 was driving with the windows down all day, felt good.
  13. We had a good Thanksgiving storm in the 70s, though I don't remember the year. They cancelled the Thanksgiving day high school football game and played the next week. It was warmer but there was still snow on the sidelines.
  14. I usually go through almost 4 cords of wood, a ton of pellets seem to equal to a cord of wood.
  15. I just want it to flip after Thanksgiving and have a good December for once. Right now, I'm enjoying the mild weather.
  16. I can wait until December for the exciting weather, I'm enjoying this warm dry weather we've had, hope the switch flips right after Thanksgiving.
  17. I remember an unseasonably warm Halloween when I was 10-11 years old, took my little sister's trick or treating, went to a neighbor's house and he decided to pour a concrete stair due to the warm weather, dummy didn't rope it off and I stepped in the newly poured concrete, wrecked my newer pair of PF Flyers. Dumb ass.
