Left my house to do some errands, was mixing here at 700 elev, down in town at about 400 elev it was pouring, on the way home it changed to a sleet fest with some snow mixed in.
Depends on timing if I remember from my school days, if it's coming down good at 7am and is going to continue they don't want buses on the road sliding all over the place. If it stops at 7, they used to have a 2 hour delay.
When I was up there I talked to a couple guys that live there, even though they average 93 inches a year they usually don't build a big pack due to the rain and temps are usually upper 20s to lower 40s.

I'm looking at it the same way, as long as things are good up there, I'm happy. Great thing about living in New England, if it sucks where you are, go north.
