  1. The cold comes in pretty good after the new year and stays for a while, should give us some good opportunities.
  2. I was just going to post it but had the same problem.
  3. Didn't that winter end up not so good? I remember thinking this cold already, going to be a great year and was disappointed.
  4. January 11th and 12th are good dates for a snowstorm over the years.
  5. We actually did ok that year, but the Snowicane soured us on the year.
  6. The pack will be so deep the piles won't melt until June. Joking but in 2015 I think there was a pile of snow in Boston that took about that long to melt.
  7. I watch that too, it's been on for a week, watched it a couple times, still funny after all these years.
  8. I watch it every Christmas too, they have a new one out with the same characters only older, haven't seen it.
  9. I can understand if the definition is it has to snow between Christmas Eve and Christmas day but to be the first snow really narrows it down to an almost impossible level.
  10. Only if its the first salt of the year and was put down between midnight and noon.
  11. Great would have been if we all got a foot plus a few days ago but it is still good considering past years.
  12. It has, my sister lives there and is a snow weenie too, I'll be moving up there in the summer once my house is built.
  13. Need a two footer or a couple of 10-15 would do too.
  14. I have about that, maybe an inch more, I feel for those getting hosed, but this is one of the better Decembers and Christmases in a while in my area.
  15. I got just about an inch, at least the grounds white and its cold, feels like Christmas.
  16. For you and Scott and a couple others but I was responding to the guy in Hartford where it's been better than in past years.
  17. It just started coming down decent here and covered the ground.
  18. December hasn't been a total loss unless you were expecting a biggie, plenty of time and more likely in Jan and Feb anyway. Its Christmas, its cold, the grounds white and flakes are coming today, nothing wrong with that.
  19. My mother in law who is 93 has one of those huge clock looking thermometers that's off by about 8 degrees too low and she thinks it accurate. She probably had -10 last night on that thing.
  20. Same thing here, I was a low of 2 my brother down at the bottom of the hill was -2.
