    It looks like we could scab and inch or two here and there before the possible storm in Feb, looks like the cold stays in some form for a while.

    My friend bought a place in that area too, he bought it to escape the cold and snow so he could golf year-round, no golf for a few days there.

    We had -5 this morning, coldest in quite a while.

    A friend of mine in North Carolina is expecting 6 inches tonight and its in the 20s, this is his winter place to get away from the cold weather and snow.

    When I drive down from Maine on cold mornings the temp jumps around like that, one day it was a 20 degree jump, from -12 to 8 in about one mile. It's near the ocean so I guess that's why the difference. On the good side, ponds should be safe, even the large ones.

    My wife said her car therm had -4 at about 7am when she backed out of the garage.

    Yeah, that snows going to stay around a few days.

    Earlier models had 12-19 inches, looks like they're a bit lower now, probably still records broken.

    Looking at radar they should shatter the record.

    Saw a report of 5.5 inches in Texas, someone might get 20

    I thought we had a squall this afternoon but it was just the wind blowing snow off the trees. Almost froze my fingers off snow blowing, need to get a blower with heated hand grips.

    I think low single digits tonight, don't think we go below zero unless you're in a good rad spot, I'm not.

    It just snowed last night, who knows if maybe another storm pops up, it's only the 20th and we have the cold.
