    I'm 77/57 too, beautiful day out there today, nice little breeze now and then. I can live without the heat and high dews.

    Not in York yet, a couple more weeks, still in Mass on the CT border so I see CT fireworks too.

    Saw some last night, couldn't tell from what town, should be more tonight. I live on top of a hill so I can see them from all directions.

    Got dry and a bit chilly tonight.

    Just caught the northern edge, heard thunder and got some decent rain but missed the brunt.

    I used to like golfing and playing softball in this weather, other than that, I hate it.

    Like last night? I wasn't expecting anything yesterday and the minute I walked outside with the dog the skies opened up and heard a loud boom, dog went back in quickly.

    Saw a dead bird on my walk with the dog too. Pretty bird, had red tipped feathers.

    Im with you there, I'm not a big beach guy so don't care if its hot, although I will go to the beach when its hot, I prefer the fall with a crisp, dry air.

    Deer fly's are out in full force this morning, me and the dog got bombarded on our morning walk. Need to wear a hat.

    Bugs are crazy when I walk the dog, something bit me in the ass and my left cheek is itchy as hell. Thought it might be a tick but nothings there but a bite.

    There was a lot in my yard tonight too.

    I have them in my shutters that face south. I remember painting the shutters one year and two flew out, I almost fell off the ladder.

    I saw a couple when I was out with the dog, one landed on the leash. I just hate the deer flies.

    My next-door neighbor does it every year, I think they all move to my yard.

    I get attacked every night when I walk my dog, deer flies are becoming a problem now too, funny when they go after my dog, she gets pissed.

    Lantern Flies? If they are, destroy them.
