  1. The little bit of snow hides the weak spots, really small ponds are safe but the bigger they are the more iffy they get.
  2. Didn't 2015 start Jan 26th? We still have plenty of time for good snow. I ended up with 1.5 inches after the last burst came through.
  3. I just posted about that place, learned to ski there.
  4. There used to be a small place in Woodstock Ct where I learned to ski back in the 70s, Ohoho, small hill with a rope tow, had fun there.
  5. That's about how many I saw, most of them were down in a ditch waiting for help, I saw one guy standing outside his car facing the wrong was at the bottom of a ditch with his airbag deployed.
  6. Trees probably blocked the wind in the frozen ones.
  7. It's small with probably very little moving water, most here that size are frozen.
  8. I wish we had even a few inches during these winds, I love when snows blowing around drifting. Back I think was the Boxing Day storm we didn't get much but the low stalled around NS and blew the snow around for days, we had 3-5 foot drifts, just looked and felt like winter. I guess I'll have to go up your way this winter to experience it.
  9. If you could that would be great.
  10. Not on the big lakes and ponds, the smaller ones around me look safe to walk on.
  11. Terrible, some places in Central and Western Mass have has maybe 6-8 inches but the coast has been terrible so far.
  12. I was in Springfield yesterday, it was blowing, not sure what the WC was but it was cold.
  13. I had an appt one year in Blandford and there was nothing here or in the Springfield area and Blandford had about a foot of crusty snow with ice snow banks.
  14. I think that's the high elevation spot in RI with a touch of it creeps into Connecticut.
  15. Dream month, I wore boots for 5 weeks straight when I went out. Also had snow shoes in my back seat.
  16. I had left hip replaced, right one doesn't have much time left. I can live with my shoulder the way it is, even golf but I lost 50 yards on my drive so it's kind of frustrating. I heard shoulder replacement is painful, my cousin just had it done so I'm in no rush to get it done. Hips are a piece of cake, but the knee is a more complex joint so takes more time to recover. My father had both knees done and both hips.
