    Just surveyed the damage in my yard, a good size maple came down and my weeping cherry is really weeping, not much left but the trunk and a few branches. Gonna need the chainsaw this weekend.

    I was saying the same thing them Bam! sideways rain then when the sun came out the wind was pretty good. My yard is a mess with branches, no trees down yet.

    Should have paid more attention to this, been busy and figured it was a miss, I should have checked the genny and got it ready. Maybe I scramble tomorrow.

    During the 15 snow blitz they had some of the deepest snow in the region.

    Looks like it might graze me but should put some good water on the golf course since its north of me. Maybe the ones in New York will be better for me, Im not into summer weather as I work too much, anyone have an opinion on those storms?

    True, some more could blow up, need the rain. The golf course was pretty brown tonight but boy did you get some run on your drives.

    I used to play Pine Ridge in Oxford, there's condo's right on the course, I've hit those condos more than once, I hit one on to a deck and it bounced around like a pinball off his deck and house, the old man came out of the condo holding the golf ball and gave me a death stare. You buy a house on a golf course you have to expect to get a stray ball now and then.

    That's probably why it didnt feel uncomfortable.

    Just took the dogs out for a walk, was very comfortable, maybe my body is adjusting to the heat but didnt feel bad at all.

    My lawn is burnt, went dormant during this heat wave.

    Honey locust and black locust are great firewood. Not many if either in my area.

    Last couple weeks at the golf course they removed half the chairs at the bar but everyone grabbed a folding chair and moved in between, they were acting like nothing ever happened, this week they removed all the chairs so you had to sit outside if you wanted a drink or food.

    Had a couple beers after golfing 9, good light show to the north but never hit us.
