  1. I used to have a large flock come into my yard every evening and eat up all the bugs they could find. Haven't see many for a couple years, a couple here and there.
  2. It looked better on the models earlier and radar too but is sorta of dying out.
  3. Love the great lakes, wished I lived near one, especially lee side that gets lake effect, but fishing is good too.
  4. One guy in Woodstock posted about a bear that raided his bee hives, they made a mess, he had quite a few too.
  5. People have been posting one of a bear in Woodstock last few days, they love the birdfeeders.
  6. They're better in Sept/Oct when you still have some warm days to cool the house down quickly.
  7. Next house I build or buy will have one, the house I'm in now has C/air but would rather try to get by without it.
  8. A friend of mine opened a place in Sturbridge, all imported Italian foods, he is from RI and every Saturday he has that pizza for a buck a piece, I haven't been there on Saturday, but I've tried his Italian pastas and other things from Providence and it's great.
  9. 73 here, nice and dry, beautiful day out there. Let's see if we can a weekend with this weather.
  10. Closest I've come is a hot air balloon, not sure I could go through with a skydive.
  11. I agree, I trade my tail for my sister's claws. She [refers the tail, I prefer the claws.
  12. You having Maine lobster tonight? I still love me a Maine lobster.
  13. Took my sister out to a steak house for her birthday in Sarasota, I was going to get a nice ribeye and the waitress said they had a special, 8oz filet with a South African lobster tail, its sweeter and more tender than a Maine lobster. My sister lives in Maine and say no way, Maine lobsters are the best. So, I ordered the filet and South African lobster tail, and the waitress was right, it was sweeter and more tender than a Maine lobster, best lobster I ever had.
  14. How many lbs of Lesco with Dimension do I need for 25,000 sf?
  15. I used to pull them, one year I pulled about 200 with a weed puller, now I just let them do their thing, they don't last long.
  16. The rains been sitting right over my head all say, don't have a gauge but it has to be a good amount.
  17. You'll save money on heating/cooling and get a write off on taxes so helps you there too. My sister put them in and saves quite a bit, I put a similar concept hybrid system and spent as much on heating as when I used my wood stove, so hardly used my stove last winter, electric bills for AC are way down to from out old system.
  18. Gotta give you credit, you love snow and moved to a snowier place. If I was single I'd be up in PF land.
  19. I just read yes on the internet too, my sister up in Maine had a good look last night. Tonight's is supposed to be visible down to Alabama.
