Wicked storm just hit and knocked out power for half of town. Just south of Worcester. My wife said hail at the house, I was across town in a torrential downpour but no hail.

Imaging if you were conscripted to shoot all those animals, dogs and cats included? I'd have to drink a bottle of vodka in the morning before I started.

I lost 3 balls on drives I hit down the middle of the fairway Wednesday, I've never see the course so soggy in 20 years.

Our league starts this week, weather looks dicey but theres always a week at the beginning that's miserable.

Started as light snow, went to sleet and now cold rain, fired up the wood stove, its raw.

I find if I season my wood a couple years I get very little creosote, I have one of the new Woodstock hybrid stoves.

The last three times I've gone to Florida in late march I've missed a decent snow storm. I think Will posted the years, I'm going in two weeks so expect a storm in that time frame.

One of my favorite places, if only I could ski, spent last weekend in Vermont, wasn't bad up there either.

I hiked up there one July and there were guys skiing that glacier, don't remember the year but it had to be a good pack for the glacier to be the size it was in July.

There was a 2-3 inch difference in my area but there's also a 300+ feet in elevation variance. I was 14 at 715, lot of reports of 16 in the area in Connecticut and towns east of me.

Pouring snow now, over two inches, goods are here, time for bed, I'll get up at 6 and see what we have.
