  1. When we first got together my wife and I would spend $60 a week on groceries, its almost triple that now. Of course we make more money but you guys get the point.
  2. My wife went before all this covid stuff came about, said it was awesome, we plan on going someday. It was also a fairly inexpensive trip for 4 days 3 nights and she saw a lot in that time.
  3. This guy isn't optimistic about cryptos Cryptocurrency investors should be prepared to lose all their money, Bank of England governor says (msn.com)
  4. We went down on Friday and there were some wicked Tstorms, you would have loved it, game got rained out.
  5. Last time I went down there for some games I almost melted, it gets freaking HHH down there, maybe Kevin should move down there.
  6. Looks like a couple chilly nights, better bring some firewood in, I always feel colder at this time of year when it gets unseasonably cold.
  7. Just don't wait too long, that sensors is telling you get your ass to the garage, if you wait too long you may have a rotor problem, that gets expensive.
  8. Some vehicles have a sensor that squeaks when the pads get low, could be that.
  9. Good point, my nephew lives north of Laker Sunapee and gets a ton of snow, one March they had almost three feet on the ground and they came down here for a funeral and we had bare ground and 50 degrees. I guess elevation is a big key up that way.
  10. That's way we did with my Mother and Father, three of us rotated so there was always someone with them, they stayed with my brother down the road from me so I was there everyday til the end.
  11. I didn't realize Concord got so little snow, I guess they're too far north, Worcester does better and is quite a ways south.
  12. Me too, I only have an acre but I'm surrounded by a few hundred acres of woods with a just a handful of neighbors that you can only see their houses in the winter. My dog has plenty of room to play and I have a small mortgage, new roof and all interior recently updated, I'm content to watch the craziness from the sidelines. If things do crash, that's an if I have a plan to take advantage of it this time, hopefully there's no crash but I'm ready just in case.
  13. That's the problem most people have, if you knew someone that an appt for rent for a reasaonable price you could do that, maybe rebuy when things cool off.
  14. Number 2 next week for me, also Moderna, I didn't react well to shot 1 so I'm probably going to end up in same shape as you.
  15. Just got an appraisal order for a house going for $89,000 over listing, the craziness continues.
  16. I've been through a few times, I think its the pallet capital of the US.
  17. Always done, funny talking to realtors and other people in the business think it's not going to, it's just going to level off, I've been doing this almost 40 years, it goes up, it comes down, always happens. The higher it goes that further it falls, seen it too many times. Maybe this time I can actually make some real money if I play it right.
  18. You dinged and donged, we play similar format, we all stroke off the lowest handicap.
  19. Lol. Kiss of death to birdie the first hole.
  20. What's the chance of me getting 9 in at 4-4:30? I'm thinking not good but I'm always optimistic.
  21. I've talked to builders in my area about that, they don't make as much money, easier to put their time into a bigger house that takes a little longer to build and make double the money.
  22. Wonder how that guy who's has a million in bitcoins waiting for 10 million before he sells makes out, greed could get the best of him, I'd sell at least half or more and let the rest ride.
  23. Pinks are the wild west of stock trading, I dabbled in the penny stocks for a short while and decided it wasn't for me.
  24. Problem is where would you go if you sold it for 500K, you'd just get into a bidding war with the others who took advantage of selling their house for top dollar. If I had a place to go that wasn't expensive I'd sell now and hunker down for a few years.
