  1. My brother has them, works great.
  2. Looked it up, I think you are correct. I remember back in 1976 Florida MA had a few inches of snow in May, I remember seeing the pics in the local paper.
  3. What's the mountain in Vermont that has residences right on the slopes? Those must be at a pretty high elevation. I stayed at Bolton one time and saw a small residential street of homes at about 2000'.
  4. My brother in law went forward with his annual memorial day cookout, had a huge umbrella over the grill and we ate inside, couldn't even watch the sox, but not a bad day overall.
  5. My cousin lives down there, go down there a lot, almost like being in the south it's so warm.
  6. One positive from this weather is my allergies haven't bothered me at all last few days.
  7. I was in your area for an appt last winter 2020 and was driving the back roads, a bobcat crossed the road in front of me and stopped on the side, I got a good look at him and we stared at each other for about a minute, once I grabbed my camera it took off so never got a pic. I assume you have all kinds of wildlife in your area.
  8. I also read somewhere that you can mix Dawn with water and spray to kill grubs, I never tried it so don't know how effective it is.
  9. You can try spot spraying Neem oil , the Demon I have works and there's another one I can't think of that we can buy without a license that's pretty good, if I remember it I'll post the name.
  10. Just curious, do you put Grub X every year? I was told to alternate between Grub X and Merit to avoid them becoming resistant to it. I think I'd try Merit at this point and see if that gets rid of them. There also some other pesticides on the market to use, I've used Demon WP and gets rid of anything that crawls, I've spot sprayed the Demon and had good results.
  11. Anyone know where the highest residential house is in New England? I know no one lives on the top of these ski areas but just curious where the highest residence is.
  12. That's what I noticed down here, some wear it some don't seems some are on the fence whether they should ditch or wait for other people to start first.
  13. I almost lit the stove but got lazy, no wood in the house would have to go out to the wood pile and wheel some in.
  14. You didn't pick up that fan yelling, "hurry the f#ck up, I'm f#king freezing here. He yelled it about 10 times and the mike picked it up
  15. I know people that had side effects from both. I had Moderna and was semi useless for one day, mostly because I woke up every hour the night of the shot sweating with a headache.
  16. This story just getting sadder, I hope his mon recovers, one is enough. I feel bad for the other kids.
  17. Before the rain yesterday the fairways were like pool tables with the golf balls bouncing and rolling like a super ball.
  18. Doesnt get better than standing on the 18th tee with the sun setting, the air cools and you're having a good round. Dont have many perfect days like that but love to drink it all in.
  19. You guys up there have to wait til June for your veggies, I could have started mine two weeks ago and I think I would have been safe.
  20. Good shower here too, don't have a gauge but definitely over an inch.
  21. I think the Sox game is ovah, looks like more coming in.
  22. There's another line of storms in Eastern NY and western Mass, not sure of they'll hold together to my area.
  23. Was at the golf course and top of a hill and we saw quite the light show, plenty of rain too which is sorely needed. The golf balls were bouncing and rolling an extra 30-40 yards it was so hard and dry.
  24. There's several factors involved with a lawn, why does half my lawn look great and the other half dries up easily. That just might be a spot that needs plenty of water, might drain quicker than other areas. I would try a small of dose starter fertilizer too, I've done that before and it greened my lawn up.
