    I was at a house today and they already have the pool open and have used it, not heated either so was surprised.

    It snowed when I was there last week, no accumulation in Denver but some of the higher surrounding towns got a few inches.

    I got an eagle like that once on a par 5, was about 100 yards out and the pin was hidden, could just see the flag, hit my shot and I heard "dink" walked up and the ball was in the hole.

    Gonna tell my brother about this, he hates the noise from his old AC and hardly uses it, I sweat when I'm over his house.

    Dresser Hill is my spot since Its only 4 miles from my house. Another good spot is the golf course in Charlton.

    Dandelions? I had a couple hundred pop up this week, I'll take care of them tomorrow.

    Only good thing about this hot humid weather is I probably dropped a couple pounds working outside today.

    I had a tooth pulled a couple months ago and said the same thing to me, I was using a straw the next day, just go easy.

    There were a few fires in Colorado when I was there, half the state was under a warning. I didn't see one green lawn in the Denver area.

    We've been lucky down here this year so far golfing but I'm expecting that to change soon. Those little buggers can be a pain when you're putting.

    Just left Boston, it's raw with a decent wind.

    I've been in Colorado for the week, two days with highs in the 30s with snow and rain one day. Mountains and some of the higher towns got snow weds. Surprised that most ski areas are closed, only found one open.

    I usually have one or two nights a year it all comes together, the more you play the better chance you have.

    The final score doesnt always tell the whole story. First week last year I was at 32, 1 over with one par 4 left, ended up with a 41.

    That's how I felt after golf last night, loaded up the wood stove when I got home.

    Actually had the wind stop my golf ball about 6 inches before the it got to the hole, green was on top of a hill, it was brutal.

    I remember when I built my house, oil was 60 cents a gallon for a few years, these price jumps makes me glad I bought a wood stove, I have next two years wood free from trees my brother had cut down. PIA to buck and split but it keeps the oil man away.

    I'm with you but it's a league so I'm obligated, we used to start earlier in the year and a few of us lobbied to move the start week later, we actually tried for 1st week of May, settled last week of April.
