We checked out the Villages, several of our friends moved there, in the winter it's great down there, so we went in the summer to get a feel for the heat, no way, too freaking hot and humid. Decided on Maine instead.
Every dog I've had (4 dogs) except for the current pup have been sprayed, nasty smell but I keep hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dawn in the house just in case.
We checked how far the seas breeze was in Maine, it dropped 8 degrees along the water and once we were a half a mile in it rose back 8 degrees, so not that far the day we tested. I'm 2 miles in so not even close.
We we're at the bank the other day signing papers and my wife had a tick crawling behind her ear; she nonchalantly crushed it and dropped it on the floor. I haven't had one this year yet.
Do you give her any type of painkiller? My last dog hurt her leg when she was 2 and was fine until she got to about 10, the long hikes stopped after that.
Was just walking my pup in my yard and I see this huge black bear wander 100 feet away, eating bread my wife threw out for the birds. It went over the wall and is taking a snooze, waiting for him to get up so I can take a pic.
