  1. Power problems down south already Snow, ice blasts through South with powerful winter storm (yahoo.com)
  2. They love leaves from my Dogwood trees but never eat enough to hurt the trees. I can watch them through my sliders and they're only 10 feet away, if I don't move they keep on eating.
  3. I've done a lot of work in Belchertown and there's some real high spots, over 1000 I think in some areas.
  4. I've had some recover and some don't. They ate both our hostas last year and one came back and the other hasn't.
  5. It has me at 1-2 inches that's what I have now so we'll see how it performs.
  6. 2 here and probably the low, got down to 2 last night too. I don't get below zero too often here, place I lived in the nearly 90's use to radiate well and hit -20 twice.
  7. I guess there's good ice on the ponds up north now.
  8. If I lived 5 miles north 92 would have been on my list, my sister got 3 feet with amazing drifts and I got 18 inches of mashed potatos.
  9. HRRR doesn't have me getting above 38, I'm in the 40's with some models.
  10. I'm an eternal optimist, always hoping for a broken forecast, used to happen a lot when I was a kid so I still have that mentality. As far as the Patriots I think a foot of snow here is more likely than them winning tonight.
  11. I don't radiate well at all, Im at 5, be surprised if I go below zero. Coldest ever where I live was -16 a few years ago when everyone was double digits below zero.
  12. It's like they've never seen this team before, WTF
  13. I was hoping we could come out of this with a couple inch glacier but doesn't look promising. Hope for better luck on the next one.
  14. Well I grew up in the 60's and there were some good years, 70's ok, 80's sucked, this year reminds me of an 80's year, bitter cold outbreak, then snow to rain. Seemed like most of the 80's were like that. The streak was broken in 92-93 and 93-94 winters.
  15. They're almost all near the water, I used to stay in Dennis because my cousin lived there but I used to like going farther up the elbow. No matter where you stay it's a short trip to the water.
  16. Has Hazey checked in this morning? he had a blizzard going last night and it looked like it would last awhile.
  17. I stayed up til midnight figuring we'd have no school and when I got up at 6am and looked out my window it was blue skies, thought things went south. I ran downstairs and looked out the door and the snow was above the top step, it was fours steps up to the porch and all I could see of my car was the black Landau top, car was buried. Never seen anything like it and then we got the wraparound squalls Tuesday into the afternoon and picked up another foot, just an amazing storm I'll never forget.
