I bought a new one last year, I think I used it twice, maybe only once. The 5 inches I got this year was light powder, so I shoveled but even in the ratter years I used it at least once, so I anticipate we'll get our chances.
Just read an article about how snowless most of the Alps are, I guess really high elevations and for some reason the Italian Dolomites are doing ok but they're having a bad winter too.
I remember a few years back in a ratter year you had piles of snow at your place at this time of the year. This year has been bad all over so far. Let's hope things turn soon.
