  1. My brother got up at 4am this morning to clear, I told him he should have let the sun do the work. Took care of most of my drive.
  2. I hate the tweeners, I'd rather get 20 inches and clean it all up in one shot.
  3. I thought the odds were with us this year after the last three.
  4. I was on 395 when the heavy snow hit, lucky it was at a time when there wasn't much traffic, but it was greasy.
  5. Going to be today in reverse, thump of snow changing to rain and a mess.
  6. My sister only got 3-4 inches in York, I thought for sure she would get 6-12. Coast must have influenced more than I thought.
  7. I was thinking the same thing today, it would have been nice to get this 3rd week of December.
  8. Look at those temps for 2/5, -17 in Connecticut, -20s in Mass on the GFS.
  9. I had the same commute an hour or so ago, glad I'm home, it's really coming down now.
  10. I was in Killingly and it was rain, by the time I got to Thompson it was heavy snow all the way into Sturbridge. Roads were a mess, but the sander/salters are out now.
  11. My sister lost power this morning in York quite a few places lost power.
  12. 12k NAM took away a few inches from me, I'll be happy with 2, thought the 6-7 was a pipe dream.
  13. It's frustrating, I've been at 33-34 since yesterday and have brown ground. I'll be happy if it flips to a couple solid inches later.
  14. Yes, gives me 6-7 inches on the backside, yesterday's runs were giving me 2-4
  15. Back in I think 2003-04 winter which was pretty good here, maybe a two Foot pack in March, we had a March storm with a few inches that changed to sleet rain but north of Worcester was all snow. I had an appt in Templeton, they had a 5-foot pack after the last storm. Deepest snow I've ever seen. Snow was so deep I couldn't walk around the house I was inspecting. The roads were like tunnels, couldn't see at intersections. Great year in Northern Worcester County.
  16. I used to think Belchertown was a good spot but after years of working in that area it disappoints in Winter. Templeton is a good spot.
  17. You're not sweating the rain/snow line in Agawam anymore. I'd feel good in your area too.
  18. Is Pit 2 your retirement. spot? I'll be up there in a couple years when my wife retires.
  19. I'm at 33 with light snow, I took a ride to the store, and it was all rain there already, expecting a switch here soon.
