  1. I'm trying to grow grass so have my irrigation system running daily. My lawn looks a little out of place compared to most the neighborhood by being so green lol
  2. After I mow later I'm probably jumping in the pool. I have the heater set at 82, but its at 84 now since it sits it the full sun.
  3. It might be a top 5 worst performance for the euro
  4. NAM is the closest to it total rainfall wise, all others no
  5. My brother's basement had about 5' of flooding with that. Living the next town over from Bound Brook at the time and seeing that flooding is something I won't forget.
  6. Lots of oaks browning out and dropping leaves around here
  7. He needs to post more than 1 year to make any type of comparison.
  8. I put down a lot of seed, but am lucky enough to have an irrigation system.
  9. Do you have what Allentown is by any chance?
  10. Pretty much sums up all the X weatherman in the age range of 25-35 who just graduated college or grad school and think they know it all. All are smug and condescending and block happy if you question them, even in a respectful way. Webb blocked me for asking him to describe what went wrong.
  11. I went to this past week's game, but left before the rain came.
  12. If it was 2024, everyone would be high That was a great storm though.
  13. 49 last night, got a little cooler than I was thinking it would. Love the cool nights and warm days this time of the year can bring.
  14. What was Feb of this year? The one week I got 20.5" of snow and am dead center between NYC and Philly. I know the one storm was kind of fluky with the thin heavy snow strip, but that could have gotten NYC as well with the 12" if it was 15 miles more north.
  15. 43, coldest of season so far. Looking forward to the warm week and one last swim weekend.
  16. Most scholors, Mets and pros online admit they don't really know, and muse on why the season has been quiet. Anyone's guess is just as valid as others, pick your fighter.
  17. Interesting from the one link there they say the Earth orbit made it so that the Sahara region became a desert 6-11 thousand years ago and before that is was lush and with lakes, etc. Is there any evidence of the earth's orbit possibly going back to resembling what it was back then?
  18. Hey, but those long range predictions and models are always spot on
  19. This is from the American Met Society below. So to me it is just another hypothesis that might be correct because the information is sound, but it might also be 100% false. With doing pharma submissions for the whole world, we see peer reviewed stuff all the time that eventually turns out to be 100% wrong. Way to many times peer reviewed stuff is quoted and posted as gospel. Just because a paper was published after undergoing “peer review” does not make it absolutely correct or perfect, nor is it the final message on that idea.
  20. Just because something is peer reviewed doesn't make it gospel. You can find 1000s of peer reviewed literature that is wrong. I see it all the time in the pharma world.
