On his daily update (free on his site), he is a little less crazy, but still visibly concerned about his forecast.

Kidding aside, I'm with you, we are in the midst of my favorite time of year to get hammered with snow and once again....here we are. 

I did clean up leaves in the yard yesterday though....so there's that. 

Yeah, the whole month of December is going to get wasted! The weather yesterday was perfect for outdoor activities.

My expectations are so low any more that it doesn’t bother me as much. Winters (especially December) suck around here. Then it stays cold into April. So dumb.

edit:  looking at the other maps for 240 euro...looks more like a progressive system that would probably hit well east and south of us.  So the quick answer is first one misses all of to the nw and the next one misses all of us to the se.  Merry Christmas

6 days out on the Euro used to be almost a lock, not any more. Get it to 3 days & maybe, just maybe....

Looks like mid-Atlantic COULD get some significant snow next week. Again, before central Ohio. This area sucks. I miss the winters back east north of Philadelphia.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out. I’m not as optimistic as I was about 5 days ago. 

Not sure what all the hype is on long range. Per 12z GFS it looks like poo.

either way I'm getting a sinking feeling that we are staring down the barrel of a snow and cold weenie's dream winter for the sub.  Unfortunately for me, I'm not nearly the excitable winter weenie I once was, it figures.
