Not seeing much movement in modeling over the last day that makes this anything more meaningful. -
Maybe it occludes further west mitigating warm air intrusion into the northeast. Would keep things frozen longer.

I was just gonna say this. You sort of have to know when ensembles are good to use or when they're not. They have clearly been leaning west of mean, which lends credence to western solutions.

When I've had AM lows of -15F this time of year, 12 feels warm.

Sorry for the late condolences but wishing you all the best in your time of mourning. It's be 8 yrs since my mom passed coming up in March, and not many days go by that I don't think about her. I will tell you though that it got easier as time passed on.
