  1. HRRR 850s had to warm, its been one of the coldest solutions.
  2. GFS looks like a hot mess compared to the rest of 18z guidance.
  3. Yeah, pretty standard op with this one. Will make for a nice nowcast to see if we can eek out another 1-2hrs on the front end.
  4. For sure. It's been steadfast in dropping 2-4" here for the past couple days. Surface gets to mid 30s by about mid-day tomorrow. If anyone can post the 850s that would be great.
  5. Still a nice front end thump down this way.
  6. Looks like the warm tongue is centered around the 850mb level. GFS looks way out of sync compared to the other 12z models at this level. I'm leaning towards the Meso models in this type of setup, hedging towards a wintrier outcome for most, save for the Cape/Islands and South Coasts. I don;t think the plain rain will penetrate much beyond 20-25 mi N from the S Coast.
  7. Is it like the Terminator? Newer models are better? Or will the original Terminator trump all?
  8. I'm not sure it's any different for either professional fields. There is so much to cover on the practical side, that's it's near impossible to add real life experience into the mix. Only comes from experience on the job.
  9. geez, some made it sound like shit comparing it to the GFS. If that’s accurate, we take.
  10. Herpeyderpy was south at 48h with more to fall
