  1. Models will struggle with a progressive/fast flow. We’ve had that exacerbated by the split flow.
  2. A bit below normal now. I’m sitting just over 22” for the season. Lucked out by having 6” this month between 2 events. 40” is about my normal season.
  3. See that’s what we need. More levity. No need to stress over what you never had. It’s just snow. I’ll speak for myself, but I enjoy tracking these more then I do the results 8 times out of 10. Great learning experiences. Coming up on 15 years on EUSWx and now AMWx and I didn’t know a thing about weather models before stepping into this.
  4. Right there with you. 14 hour work days make and old man gray.
  5. It’s gotten tiresome this year given the dearth of snow. Staying up till 1-2am ain’t happening anymore.
  6. We get it. You’re in a pissy mood. If you have nothing to add, go somewhere else.
  7. Couple things of note. The ULL in SE is opening up and the angle of the GL energy has a much better trajectory due to the ridging out west having a more rounded top.
  8. But, but, but Dr Doosh said it was a hot mess
  9. Baro zone clipping SNE on the 18z NAM now.

  11. Not sure what some were/are expecting out of this, Seems like some are looking for Jan 2005.
  12. There is a clear divergence around 78-84hrs on the GEFS.
  13. 700mb closes off as it passes by.
  14. speed up the northern stream another 6-12hrs
  15. Hasn't been finalized but I love seeing my thoughts come forth in the models.
  16. That's what we want to see. Stop keying on that lead shart and focus on the real deal.
