  1. Hardly anyone skis after February vacation anyway
  2. That's right. I have vague memories of coaching soccer in late March. Just looked at the numbers. 5 day stretch of 70+, with a couple spot 80s. Monthly departure would not be far off from this one.
  3. I think everyone in SNE is under double digits for snow this month.
  4. Yeah, maybe we get some rogue band. Not banking on anything but dim sun though.
  5. NAM still wants to clip SE MA and CC
  6. And a dry month. Less then 1/2 monthly average precip.
  7. If it’s not going to snow, I’ll enjoy the month of january in February.
  8. Holy shit. Haven’t had them in about a year. So good. Ask @CoastalWx, @JoeD, @butterfish55, @Arnold214, @Turtle
  9. Some seasons are conducive to big events. This season thus far has shown ways to buck that. We learn, we move on. And this is a good plaice to keep this banter as the threat seems diminished for most.
  10. For sure. No different then our 2015.
  11. Definitely evident. Anger, exasperation, desperation, frustration.
  12. Every model has been offshore for days but every threat of a late capture was always there.
  13. Models will struggle with a progressive/fast flow. We’ve had that exacerbated by the split flow.
  14. A bit below normal now. I’m sitting just over 22” for the season. Lucked out by having 6” this month between 2 events. 40” is about my normal season.
  15. See that’s what we need. More levity. No need to stress over what you never had. It’s just snow. I’ll speak for myself, but I enjoy tracking these more then I do the results 8 times out of 10. Great learning experiences. Coming up on 15 years on EUSWx and now AMWx and I didn’t know a thing about weather models before stepping into this.
  16. Right there with you. 14 hour work days make and old man gray.
  17. It’s gotten tiresome this year given the dearth of snow. Staying up till 1-2am ain’t happening anymore.
