    Just looking through soundings and it's a brief snow/sleet at onset before a cold rain. There's a warm tongue above 850mb that gets up to like 5C

    Try and follow along here. The slp was weaker then the 00z run by a few mb thru most of the time up to the storm. And the only real noticable changes on wintry output was N of the MA border up in CNE.

    Definitely not down here but further N you have greater margin on average temps below freezing.

    46F. The beat goes on as far as+ departures go. Coming up on 2 weeks now of + with only 1 day in there below. Only 7 days below normal since Jan 1st. And tack on anther 10 days to end December above normal. So over a 45 day span, 1/2 of Winter, only 16% of that days have averaged below normal.

    Been running ~3 weeks between snow periods. 12/18 thru 1/7 and 1/18 thru today See if this next one pans out. Starts this weekend.

    It is on the mild side. It's 45 here off a low of 21F. Normal for the day is 38/19. So right now I'm running a +5 on the day.

    Ukie was the western outlier and the euro a whiff with our last failed storm. We all know what ended up more right then wrong on that one.
