Congrats Great Whites

When our neighborhood was developed the landscape contractor planted a Bradford Pear in every front yard. Makes for a nice Spring appearance when the blooms come out. I have since put in a Himalayan Birch, 2 Sunset Maples, a Kousa Dogwood and most recently, a Plum, a couple years back. Lack of rain has put a clear strain on the Birch. It;'s lost quite a bit of leaves over the last couple weeks and a couple branches looks like they may have died off. Hoping its the lack of rain and not something else. The trees were not cheap. They were 8-10' delivered from the nursery (Briggs).

Our neightbor has a Tulip Tree they planted about 15 years ago. It's gotta be 20'+ now. I'll send you a shot of that as well.

I have a Kousa Dogwood. I planted it on my SW corner of my house about 10-12 years ago. It's about 12-15' high right now. I'll send you a photo.

Yesterday was a torch. +10.9F, back over +5F on the month.

We clear. Approaching 80F now.

Today should make 4th day of 90F+ in a row. Please let me know when the back is broken.

These last 2 days beg to differ. 2 severe days where storms fell about mere miles away from here.

We in da same boat. About 1/4” more of rain here and I’ve had 26 days of 90F or more. Can’t recall ever having this many. Dews as well.

Rain and average temps is all I want right now. This summer sucked virtually start to finish for any meaningful weather. I had my personal deluge in early June, and that was it. Whatever that TS was sucked, the endless heat and humidity sucked, the lack of rain sucked.

More then double what I saw today. Congrats. No issues banging out 90F days. TAN is the new BDL

Southerly winds over Narragansett Bay kills storms here. We do better on N and W winds for storms.

This is gonna be me when I do get some rain.

I'm so over this Summer. Storms can and have found every which way to miss ever since I had that private deluge(2.25') back in June.
