The new fixed mount fan guns are expensive but incredible technology. Pleasant has invested significantly over the last 4 years in them and was able to resurface all their high traffic terrain over the past 24 hours and they are blowing a ton of snow elsewhere to get things open for MLK. Doesn’t hurt having unlimited water from the lake right next door. These are the years where resorts with the best systems really shine. Today felt like a real mid winter day. Trending next weekend into 4-6” gain would help a ton.

This post hit me.  Makes me feel good to know the smaller areas are doing it right.  The future looks bright.

    What I miss?
I awoke last Monday morning to blood gushing from my nose, chest pains, severe DVT throbbing in my legs, thought was buying the farm. Had to call 911 ...
Two clots in both legs, lung infection, heart pumping at 50% capacity. I'm back home after a week, another 1/2 dozen scripts. The bleeding had stopped but as soon as I get back home.
    Momma I'm coming home!

Holy hell Don.  Don't you go dyin' on me friend. :o

Haha, they’ve actually passed a couple recent season snowfall totals so far.  They’ve had some low 300s totals that everyone says are terrible winters, lol.  Now they pass it in early January.

I think Alta/Snowbird have has some seasons close to 700"

Just keep checking out west... I love that they are now at 300+ inches so far this season for the Wasatch, they are issuing Winter Weather Advisories for like 10-20" of snow and locally higher in the Cottonwoods.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING
    TO 5 PM MST WEDNESDAY...

    * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16
inches with 10 to 20 inches in the central Wasatch and Uintas,
locally higher amounts in the Upper Cottonwoods.

Brighton and Alta neck and neck at 331" and 330".  That's nuts as they enter peak climo.

Looking at moving our lift tickets to another day later in the winter. May still go for the trip, since we cannot get a refund at this point, but definitely tossing around the possibility of booking for sometime in late Feb or March and hoping it’s better

There’s a ton of antique places up there, ski museums etc. Don’t let vacation be ruined! Make lemonade out of a lemon!

Do what the man says.  There's plenty to do.  Shop, beer, edibles, sex, tubing.
