  1. I was taken by surprise on the start time. I thought it was supposed to hold off till after sunset today for my area. Started around 10am. Not much has fallen but it ruined a solid day of work for my GC.
  2. These HRRR runs nit backing down on uber totals is a bit unnerving.
  3. HRRR shows what the SPC is saying as well. Threat is along the South Coast.
  4. But there is a slight risk of tornados though.
  5. Go figure. I was and MEH'd for asking about this the other day and this AM.
  6. At least not around here. Disconcerting to say the least when you have consensus across models for a huge rain event. Likely the high ends are wrong but you never can rule out with a storm of tropical origins.

  8. I'm tired of the rain. It's slowing the progress of our addition and the last rains we got caused water to get into our basement. Luckily it didn't cause an issues but I'd like to not flirt with that again. They need about another week to get the roof on and tight enough so water won't come in.
  9. I just asked the question knowing we have Ida remnants moving through. Today was epic nada.
  10. I see you've been hitting the sauce since this AM .
  11. I don't touch the stuff but who am I to care what someone else puts in their body, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.
  12. I'm itching to have my system set up and fully functioning but it's been painfully slow with all the work going on around the house, so it's been sort of placed wherever I can prop the ISS up.
  13. Just got my birthday gift delivered from Amazon after an incorrect shipment was sent. Got my Davis wireless transmitter so I can mount my anemometer on my roof. It wont be at 30'. Looks like it'll be around 24' which won't be too bad. Still surrounded by a lot of trees that are 70'. https://www.davisinstruments.com/products/solar-powered-wireless-sensor-transmitter
  14. Sorry to hear about your daughters disease. Sucks. I have a cousin that's been living with it for about 15 years now. Manages it pretty well. And I commend you for not making her a pariah.
