Any record highs in jeopardy today? I see TAN's record high for the day in 74F(2015), going back to 1998 when the station came online.

We embrace the warmth. Cold is not required till January.

Looks like Orange's avg low is 40F on this date. So you got a +11F for low at the site today. 63F is the avg high, so that'll be blown away too.

Only took a day. +3.1F now after yesterdays +9.3F.

Tolland an Otis are nice elevated plateau with a lot of swampy areas. Should be some good color there.

Looks the same here. Swampy/low lying areas are peak now.

Why did it ever get take out?

We don't measure temps and ground level. We measure them ~6' above the ground. This is why we see frosts when temps are above 32F. It's 32F right at the ground.

Should easily be +3F by the end of the week MTD. What a great stretch of extended Summer we've had over last 45 days.

Today's Tall Fescue is not like the old. There are TTTF varieties that look more like a KBG.
