Next Wed, Jan 8, storm takes shape in the South while very frigid air moves on SE bound. There is even possibility of steady rains in Buda changing to steady frzra then to sleet and even a period of snow of all things. The entire movable feast heads east then up the coast bringing steady snow to the DC Metropolitan Region. Considerable accumulation and drifting of the snow is expected over much of the Mid Atlantic. We may be talking a foot or more of the pow over the metro region of DC and greater vicinity. It's going to get quite cold as optimum jebwalk conditions develop over communities located in much of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware possibly including North Carolina (this is not very good news for communities located in western North Carolina, though) and even South Carolina. SNE may get involved and with that, the skiing resorts there may get a good deal of the white stuff in the first week of the New Year. Think this is just one of my fantasies? You better get tracking! Stock up on beer, food, shovels and blowers stat! There's gonna be NO SLEEP TIL BROOKLYN! Everyone is gonna be up tracking all the models, folks! This may be IT!

Sean at the Bachelor snow stake, was literally ass deep in snowpack, had to dig the stake out of nineteen inches of fresh snow with this huge shovel lol. It took some doing! They get SO MUCH SNOW its way beyond a snow enthusiast's perfect snowgasm.

I promise. DC is gonna get so much snow, you are gonnabe sick and tired of digging it. You folks are gonna get Dayed After Tomorrow to death and back.

Plenty snow in Montana.

This looks good. Setup for decent cold, storming. Snow maybe even on top of snow sticking around. Plenty of time to enjoy a good stout and take in an epic jebwalk and shovel pow all day, only to have that wind re drift it then the PLOW seals you in nice and snug with an eleven foot snow berm.

Neg nao is gonna freeze the DC region for 3 weeks. Western ski forecasters are already talking about this, say the trough will be stuck in the east for 2 to 3 weeks. Ridge in control in the west.

I watched Sean clear the snow stake about 11 hours ago. Since then, Bachelor has piled on 13.5 MORE inches of freshies in about 9.3 hours as of 5am Texas time!!!!! Snow will pile up well into the late morning. Might wanna keep an eye on this. The Cascades get so much frackin' snow, it is totally UNBELIEVABLE! THEY ARE WORKING ON 19 INCHES OF NEW SNOW SO FAR SINCE ABOUT 8PM LAST NIGHT! TALK ABOUT REFILLS! STILL SNOWIN' !

You guys are gonna time the cold with a ton of moisture, several times this winter in DC. This is gonna be good! Meanwhile, in other news, damn I am ecstatic! WE HIT 84 TODAY!!!!! CAN SIPS says Texas will be +7 in January 2025! If it is that warm, I will run down Main Street naked. This means the East will be in a Day After Tomorrow pattern, laden with torrential snows and cold.

Skiers are slushing around with snow sticking to their skis! Get out of there! Head for Mount Bachelor! Free refills and lots of deep stashes! Stay out of tree wells!

Mt Bachelor gets so much snow it is UNBELIEVABLE! They don't slant stick, either. They got 18 inches yesterday, 11 inches the day before, 5 inches day before that. Every weather system hits the North American Continent smashes into the Pac Northwest and Bachelor gets snow. One thing I CRAVE, is MT BAKER getting a high resolution live streaming web cam! Those folks get annihilated all the time! In 1998-99 they piled up over ~1100 inches of pow!

What you guys have coming, is getting 5 million dollared by snow.
