This looks like a good storm for ppl on Rt 9. I wish I was up there, I'd hang out up there for the storm!

If it will help you all get snow then I am rooting for new england to get crushed BAD, so bad they have to crawl out of their 4th story windows because of drifts. Then I root for the Mid Atlantic to get utterly annihilated by snow.

Roger that! That was Feb 12-14 2003. I was in Harrisonburg with my ski friends for that one. Talk about whiteout on I 81! Also, Feb 9 1994, storm started out as freezing rain at 19 degrees. Then it changed to HEAVY SLEET and it POURED heavy pingers for hours. We wound up with 3-4 inches of sleet otg which glaciated overnight. Then it was FUN FUN FUN to jebwalk on! I saw ppl with digging bars trying to remove the stuff. It would warm to 48 degrees, little pools of water formed on top of the glacier then it just froze again at night lol. Good Times.

Its pretty obvious there may be some thundersnows. Snow Rates will be absolutely devastating.

I think some of you will never transition to sleet. You'll just stay snow and pile up, and pile up, and keep right on piling it up. Then, you can go outside and pile it up even more with your shovels lol

Thanks. I will continue pulling HARD for snow for the Mid Atlantic. You got more snow on the way with this storm and more snowstorms THIS winter yet to be realized.

I am up, although I am kind of "visiting" south central Texas right now lol. PWC, Leesburg, Rockville, HoCo/MoCo and Washington DC, among many other places in N VA are going to get smashed by heavy snow. That Deathband is gonna set up across North VA and the returns will be solid RED and ALL SNOW! For Those About to Rock........

Green 20-25 dbZ returns are now consolidating over PW County in VA. Should be snowing soon. Dale City is 32/23, humidity is in excess of 70 percent. In fact much of N VA is coming under the influence of STEADY 25 dbZ returns. How much you wanna wager, that accumulating snows begin in Dale City by 430am EST? <Jeb pushes a huge pile of blue/gray chips onto the blackjack table> Hell, I'm all in! (Blue/gray chips are 5K a chip, I know, I won one ONCE)

Got some greens over east Prince William County near Dale City. Should not be long before people see snow reach the ground there.
