  1. This IS a sign of a good winter. Like 2009-2010 level excellent, a lot colder and with a Jan 22-24 2016 thrown in for good measure! Bank on it! Remember, You heard it from the Jebman first!
  2. ENSO Neutral years featured some of the frigidest, snowiest weather in recent years. Its gonna happen again in the Mid Atlantic. THIS WINTER!
  3. Could you please send us some of that sweet 50s temps down here in Hell, Texas? We could sure use it. Thanks. Speakin of 80s music
  4. Be VERY, VERY careful what you wish for. This could turn right into a downright EXPLOSIVE tropical season, and the I 95 Corridor is right in the Crosshairs, NOT the Gulf Coast this season.
  5. Just another scorcher in my south central Texas neighborhood, its definitely a neighborly day for a scorcher lol. We topped out at 102 again today. Dew is generally 71. The sun is pure unadulterated MURDER! Forecast is all about something called persistence down here, pretty much wall to wall sunshine and hot right into next month lol. Probably right THROUGH next month, LOL. In other news, persistence forecasting calls for a truly frigid, snowy winter up in Washington DC!

    ??'s for NOAA

Hey i got a question for NOAA. I am new to south central Texas. I live here now lol. What ENSO state is conducive to cooler, rainier weather in Austin in the low sun season?
  7. Be VERY VERY careful what you wish for. The I 95 Corridor is forecast to get smashed this Hurricane Season! All is well down here in the HOTBOX, if you love 103 degrees every day with 72 dewpoints and a murderous sun angle! I have to do OUTDOOR chores in this shyte. If you live near Washington DC - You better look out this winter, 2019-2020. LOTS of snow, and very very frigid weather!
  8. Tropical season is going to explode along the Eastern Seaboard soon. Lots of big canes, wind, storm surge and torrential rains.
  9. Washington DC has been doing very well with La Nada winters, particularly earlier this decade. You will do so this upcoming winter as well. Expect well above normal snow in the Mid Atlantic, along with very cold temps.
  10. Its hot as an anteroom of Hell down here in south central Texas. Larry Cosgrove says that the heat is set to go on into early November down here in the south and southwest. No mercy at all for the weary, lol. Its been smashing the low one hundred single digits for days and days and days down here. I got my car A/C set at 84 degrees and its cold! Unbelievable! It hit 103 today in Buda. That sun is downright MURDEROUS! I have to do OUTDOOR chores. Its definitely not fun, not one little bit lol. Washington DC is still on track for a very frigid, exceptionally SNOWY Winter of 2019-2020.
  11. This is going to be a very active hurricane season. Be VERY, VERY careful what you wish for..........
  12. Off topic Stormpc but you are living in extreme NE NC. You can still get clobbered by HECS that miss DC to the south. You are gonna see a heck of a LOT more snow, than I ever will lmao! You better be lookin out for hurricanes! YOU NOW RESIDE IN HURRICANE COUNTRY. Washington DC is still on track for a very very SNOWY COLD winter in 2019-2020!
  13. We got a RARE late July cold front way down here in the Deep Southwest lol. Our normals this time of year are a high of 97, a low of 74. Today we hit 93 but the dewpoint was ONLY 59!!!! Dews should be pushing 75 easy. It felt like 77/47!!!! Unbelievable we should EVER see a cold air mass this far south in late July! (In south central Texas, that is lol).
  14. We are gonna have a neutral ENSO. That means a massive snow winter for the entire Mid Atlantic! Get your Jebman Shovels and ice melter! You're gonna need em!
  15. What are you doin down in Currituck North Carolina? You on vacation or did you move down there for good? You really dont want to try and pull a Jebman Special and move south where it never snows lmao.........
  16. I think I may be going outright native down here in south central Texas, 98 degrees, 74 dewpoint, and I have been kicking back in the shade on a chair and feeling pretty cool lol. Also, running A/C in my car down here at 84 degrees, feels really cool lmao
  17. You guys might want to take a look at radar, you got some storms headin straight at ya from the north! https://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php Its doin it down here in TX as well, though not nearly as severe as y'all! Washington DC is #SevereTown Always has been.
  18. You think you live in the dewpoint zone! We get our dewpoints from the Mighty Gulf of Mexico! We have already had a few days in the upper 70s. The Gulf's just now clearing her throat! All it takes is mid 70s dews plus a few streamer showers just like that we are in the low 80s dews! Talk about stifling! Sometimes, we can hit 84 dews. The heat indices get totally ridiculous at those dewpoint levels. Just the other day when we had 84/79 conditions at 8pm, I was checking out trash cans for standing water down here. Well, I found about five hundred mosquitoes in one, upended it ----- BIG MISTAKE! The skeeters were really pissed off at me, they remarked in mosquitoese, "There's that guy from Northern Va that loves snow that just moved down here! GET HIM!!!" I ran for my life!!!
  19. The next BIG Winter for snow and cold, is THIS UPCOMING WINTER in the Mid Atlantic, and Washington DC will resemble many communities in northern Maine for weeks.
  20. Love those spectacular snow pics as I reflect on how mild and warm today has been in MY particular neck of the woods lol, It's 740pm CDT, 91 degrees with a nice 79 dewpoint, really not all that bad for mid June here, feels kind of like 109 degrees. I was out in that beautiful spring weather all day today doing some relaxing chores lol. That snow looks nice right now. Take a very good look at those snow pictures. Because this upcoming winter, the 2019-2020 Winter, THAT, is exactly what Washington DC is going to look like. For weeks. It's only 25 weeks away. Get your Jebman Shovels NOW!
  21. Last year in Dale City at least, there were a few rainy weekends from late May on thru late September. I should know. I was still up there then. It rained and rained, and I had to mow not only my yard but two of my neighbors' yards. It was The Summer Without The Sun.
  22. Dale City has a cold dewpoint of 54 degrees. Buda has a milder dewpoint of 77. Its HUMID out there tonight! This, is only the Beginning. It will be high summer down here well into early OCTOBER yuck. The Mid Atlantic however is heading into what will likely turn out to be one of the coldest and snowiest winters in history, the formidable Winter of 2019-2020. Dont make me have to come up there and show y'all how to shovel snow in November!
  23. Its getting slightly warm down here in south central Texas. High was 97. Dewpoint was 74. It felt like 110. Tonight, 84 degrees with a 78 degree dewpoint. Tomorrow will in all likelihood be WORSE. Its not even summer yet. LOL In August down here the average high temperature is 99. Now thats HOT! You guys arent gonna believe this: The mosquitoes are so bad, that I am wearing jeans and a light hoodie, in order to keep from being bitten alive. It works, but it feels very hot.
  24. If only it was! Then the Mid Atlantic would have a massively snowy Winter of 2019-2020.
  25. Uh oh folks! ANOTHER massively WET summer may be in store for the Mid Atlantic! Need a break from the relentless rains? Come see us in warm, dry Texas. All of these weather anomalies in the Mid Atlantic - They have nothing to do with The Matrix. This is Climate Change. It will continue. It will increase with time. The storms down here in Texas are changing a little as well. They are getting stronger. A chinaberry tree hit the side of my moms house a few days ago during an electrical storm. We had 66 mph wind gusts and horizon to horizon lightning for at least 2 hours. There were many cloud to ground strikes. I am definitely not in Kansas anymore, lol.
