  1. It has been at 1000w for months, but it’s not at its old transmission power before this whole debacle happened years ago. edit: according to NWS normal power is 1000w. Not sure if that’s always been the case or more recently. Could have sworn KWO35 transmitted at 1250 or so, but perhaps I’m wrong.
  2. Signal is strong enough in Syosset. I doubt you’ll hear it from Riverhead with this transmitter now at only 1000w. Old transmitter was 1500w as I recall.
  3. 37.3 in Muttontown & 41.1 in Syosset this morning.
  4. Lows were at midnight as NE winds bumped temps up overnight. 42.8 in Muttontown & 48.4 in Syosset.
  5. 47.1 in Syosset & 47.9 in Muttontown this morning.
  6. 59.3 in Syosset & 56.5 in Muttontown this morning.
  7. I do think the WAR will be under modeled & there’s a nice corridor for the east coast to be at risk for any tropical systems. Hopefully I’m wrong on this for other reasons.
  8. As others have said, wish you a speedy recovery. Rest up & get well.
  9. He's 1 mile S of me off Jackson Ave, using the GPS coordinates in the PNS. I finished with 3.59" FWIW. I'm suspect a mile would make that much difference in QPF amounts.
