    Agree, it’ll be mostly on grass. 2” probably reality but can’t rule out 4” if rates are heavy enough. Having overcast skies these last 2 days helps a bit with solar radiation on the soil & today the daytime high didn’t get to 52 that my point and click had. Only managed 47 at my stations this afternoon.

    I’m 2-4” for N Shore. If we bust high, I won’t complain though. See what 00Z hi-res runs do with thermals, etc.

    I'm sure the 18Z GFS will change dramatically post 240hrs compared to the 12Z run. Why the operational GFS is run past 240hr, is a whole other debate to be had.

    The sun was out on Saturday in Roslyn and was peeking out in Syosset on way to Roslyn. Don’t know for how long, as I was busy entertaining at my kid’s bday party.

    Who knows. That same model builds a ridge over the W as you advance it. Lining up with the 2/15 date Brooklyn was highlighting yesterday.

    Yeah it's a big pet peeve of mine. We have the technology now to be more precise using F. Of course, C is more accurate but good luck moving our country over to metric.

    1.5” on my snowboard. Just got home & measured. Hopefully no compaction took place.

    Is the attachment too big? Otherwise, you should be able to. I've had to delete old attachments posted since there's a limit.

    Yep, my blacktop driveway facing S (gets full sun on clear day) is snow covered in Syosset. As is my road in untreated areas.
