    It's about 36hrs behind the capture of the low and retrograding it W compared to all the other models. I'd toss it.

    They'll issue the wind advisories and high wind warning for E LI this afternoon. I know you went on your rant yesterday but we have track agreement now with the models, so they'll have confidence to issue products now with respect to the wind IMO.

    OKX has 24hr to issue an advisory for twin forks if need be. Let's hope by tomorrow morning the models all agree on the track & they'll move on advisories for out east if needed.

    It actually decreased from yesterday. It most likely won't develop at all thanks to the SAL & shear.

    From Aruba, the rain back home this morning was 2.13” in Syosset (8.96” for the month) & 1.92” in Muttontown (8.29” for the month).

    Conveyor belt of smoke in the upper levels from the PAC NW it seems with the wind at 200mb & 500mb and the ridge centered W of us. Wonder how much it’ll impact high temps some days.

    Yep, only posted about it the other day. Tomorrow it'll be thicker but thankfully all in the upper levels and not down at the surface.

    Smoke followed me home. Temps dropping now due to smoke it seems. Picture from the walkway over the Hudson, a little before 1pm.

    Thick smoky sky in Rhinebeck currently with a light smell of smoke at the surface. Flashbacks to 2023. Can’t even feel the sun at the moment.

    I think any new gas station or existing gas station that does a renovation is required to install a generator, to alleviate any gas runs.
