My father passed away this morning, and he was the inspiration that got me into weather. We used to sit and chat about every storm for hours. This storm is him saying goodbye.

NAM looks great at H5

0z GFS just told the 18z NAM "hold my beer"

Looking at H5 through 36hrs the GFS didn't look any better if not a bit worse.

Doing this from my phone, but based on the east trend of the energy in the southwest, I have to say the GFS is going to dig and come West.

Definite improvements on the 12z GFS so far!

the 12z Nam was a slight improvement at 500 over the 6z. But still holding back in the SW.

Correct, however the NAM taking a big step in the Euro direction is a good sign. If the ICON follows suite, I will be much more confident that this trend is really happening.
