  1. Just calculated total rainfall over the past month in Weatogue/Simsbury, Conn. : 10.11" of rain since June 19th. Over 9.73" of this total has fallen since July 1st. According to Western Conn. State University, this has been the wettest start to July on record.

  7. I took this today on the Farmington River in Simsbury at the Drake Flower Bridge. River is super high.

  13. Looking like this might verify. That single cell at the southern end of the orh line is moving easterly and it has potential.
  14. Looks like the threat is more Eastern CT and East of 91. I think south and west is done. Our mets are skeptical say we're drying out aloft now. You can't tell with the humidity on the deck, that's for sure.
  15. I personally love the fact the latest HRRR tracks a strong storm right over tblizz dry fanny.

  18. NEW: @GovPhilScott updates. #Vt on flooding. Primary focus is safety. 14 swift rescue teams deployed. 19 rescues from cars, trees & homes as of 11AM. Londonderry, Weston, Ludlow hardest hit. Evacuations underway in Plymouth. Swift water team from North Carolina here.
