  1. 3.5" snow total - I got a little tractor work in...First snowblower work this season.
  2. To my southern brothers, enjoy your snow!! Been a tough winter for you. Thanks to everyone for keeping us updated on the model runs and snow!!
  3. Picked up a coating overnight, grass is covered with snow but nothing stuck to the roadways. That was somewhat a surprise.
  4. Don't really like the last sentence but it's a start in the right direction.
  5. Jim Cantore posted this GFS image this morning on Twitter. Just a "bit" of difference in the snow output for the operational GFS vs the operational EURO through Sunday... #ugh All we know is this "event" should be over Sunday. Confidence in any details are low at this time. @weatherbell pic.twitter.com/zm9SPiQt7S
  6. Looks like a repeat this Friday of yesterday. Then maybe a chance....If not next look 20th. Just no cold in place when we need it.
  7. Since it's a little slow. New Year's Day past weather. 60's wasn't to bad to us. https://www.weather.gov/ctp/NewYearsWeather
  8. Looks like Sunday/Monday could be a little messy. GFS looks warm.
  9. I think it starts Jan 7th. Showers going through here this morning.
  10. For all my Buds wanting 2 feet of snow...Merry Christmas!!
  11. Looks to be a pretty dull Christmas week. High temps around 45-50 towards the end of the week. Hopefully we can start the new year off right and pick up a quick clipper or something along them lines. Everyone have a very Merry Christmas!!
  12. Interesting read on major snow storms in the northeast https://www.weather.gov/aly/MajorWinterStorms https://www.weather.gov/ctp/climateRecordsWilliamsport
  13. There was a big snow back in 64, I barely remember. But I remember my Dad putting snow chains on his car. 93-94 there was a couple big storms. And the one in 2017.
  14. That's terrible...Glad I avoided 80 yesterday, I was going to go home that way. You got tractor trailers and cars driving on snow covered roads going 70mph. What's really scary is a tractor trailer pulling doubles. Makes one wonder how many have actually drove in snow. Hopefully between Christmas and New Years we will be able to pick up a storm.
  15. Canderson I also was surprised by the strong winds last night. Low here was 17 this morning. Definitely invigorating. We all have seen storms suddenly come together that we weren't expecting...keeping fingers crossed.
  16. Wife and me got caught in some white out conditions. Crazy how everything was covered within minutes. Just north of Lewisburg.
  17. I think the year was 2009. Twice a week I was getting clippers dumping 2-4" of snow. Not big snows but it all adds up. I love those clippers!! A lot of us in this forum have been here before the American WX. We have a good group!!
  18. Be nice to have a few cold clippers. This freezing rain slop isn't much fun at all. Radar for last nights storm.
  19. For me I'm thinking about 2.5" overnight. About the same amount that we had the other week. CTP I think has got burnt in the past and tries to stay conservative
  20. Off topic but enjoying the Chiefs/Bronocs game with all that snow. On CBS. Blizz kind of sparse with the models but it all adds up.
