    Boy after last winter. This winter is at least looking promising. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and write-ups!! No where I need to be tomorrow. Just watch this mess unfold.

    West Branch up here crested at 17.59 up here. Was predicting 19' 136,000 cubic ft per second is a lot of water moving really fast. 10,000 is the average so it's basically 13.6 times your average flow. Be Careful!! 20 degrees for the low this morning.

    We ended up with 2.20" of rain, while still retaining some of our previous snow for a white Christmas. We also ended up with some minor flooding in low lying areas . How are you guys going to make out with the river in the Harrisburg area? Merry Christmas everyone!

    One weather App was showing us picking up 3.35" of rain. Last time something like that happened was 1996 10 people died from the flooding. 1000's displaced.

    Timing is everything...can you imagine this all being snow. We would be set.

    Yeah looks like no happy medium. Hope this isn't a repeat of 96. Not sure how much snow pack is in the mountains. Voyager can't believe only 2 years out, and your having trouble getting hired...Good Luck!

    Well it will bring the river up and make it good for fishing. River is still awful low.

    Bliz you answered my question, I was worried about blocking on the end of the season storm. Sure going to suck losing most of our snow Thursday. I hate getting heavy snow then 4 days later heavy rain. I have seen to much flooding. edit: Down from 22" to 10" of snow this morning.

    19" and still puking snow. I'll be cleaning snow for a day. Not a bad problem to have Not the best measurement but at 3:00 in the morning and snow over my boots, it will have to do.

    Everyone thanks for taking the time posting all the maps. And there sure hasn't been to many bad ones. Have enjoyed checking in through out the day and seeing the projected snow totals. Tractor, snowblower are ready to go. Probably another aspect of these storms that I like is sitting in front of the fireplace and watching it snow with a cup of coffee. Until it's time to go out and cleanup. After cleanup then it's time for the other liquid refreshment.

    That would be a whole winters worth of snow for me in one storm. .
